Alix - La Bien Aimée

Alix is a very special yarn. Custom milled for La Bien Aimée, Alix is a gorgeous mix of 70% Falkland Merino and 30% Suri Alpaca.

Alix is made to be knit either double with itself, or with other lace weight yarns, resulting in a sport weight gauge. It can also be a super soft substitute to either of these bases. It is soft and drapey, perfect to be worn next to the skin or around the neck. What's more, it's incredible yardage means you can get a sizable shawl out of just one skein.
